Just a quick note to let you know that I've added a new gallery under Images titled Birds of West Texas to spotlight the beautiful birds I photographed in the Davis Mountains area and South Llano River State Park in Junction, Texas. The Texas Wildlife and Flowers gallery has a few West Texas additions too.
There are also lots of new photos under the Birds of Texas gallery from Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary, Quintana Beach, Galveston, Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, and, of course, our backyard.
And finally, I've published my first book, Bird from the Backyard in Weston Lakes, with all profits going to Keep Weston Lakes Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful. All of the birds were photographed within our little city, and all except two from our backyard. It is 31 pages and features 57 different species.
